"El Rey" translates to "The King", and this spicy, Spanish-style Chorizo definitely lives up to the hype. Made using sweet and smoked paprika, clove, allspice, cayenne, and chili flake, it's the ultimate spicy chorizo for all your tapas needs.

This salami is fermented slowly and aged naturally using old world European methods. It's encased in a natural, hand sewn hog casing, netted, and coated with colorful, funky natural molds that range from grey, to green, to blue and white.

Pork, pork fat, spices, salt, less than 2%: garlic, dextrose, water, swiss chard powder, lactic acid starter culture. Hog Casing.

Serving Suggestions

Remove salami from paper and peel the netting and the casing. These hand sewn hot casings are much thicker than our smaller salamis, so we suggest peeling before slicing.

Once sliced, your options are limitless.Use it as a pizza topping. Fold the salami and skewer it with green olive, sardines and roasted peppers to make a Spanish-style tapas. Render it crispy and have it be the crunch on top of your next salad. Wrap prawns with it, or julienne it and add it to a mussels and clams dish.

Store and merchandise in constant refrigeration 35-38 deg F.

Standard Shipping

Orders will be processed within one business day, with the exception of extended transit times over the weekends. All orders will be packed with proper insulation and ice to protect the integrity while in transit. Orders placed Wednesday-Sunday will typically be shipped on Mondays.
